The facility is a small hospital with fewer than 100 beds and a Level IV trauma designation. It provides gynecological clinic and surgical services to the surrounding community. The facility operates with established clinical workflows to support locum tenens coverage on a day shift basis.

Kansas offers a range of attractions for clinicians on assignment. Notable destinations include the National WWI Museum and Memorial, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum, and Boyhood Home. Natural landmarks such as Monument Rocks and the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, as well as the Kansas State Capitol and the Sedgwick County Zoo, provide additional options for exploration during time away from the facility.

The gynecologist will provide clinic and operating room coverage during day shifts on an on-site basis, managing a caseload of 15-25 patients per day. The scope of practice is limited to bread and butter gynecological cases; obstetrical coverage is not required for this assignment.
