Locum Hematology/Oncology Position - Minneapolis area
Job Description
Facility is seeking Locum BC Hematologist/Oncologist to provide float pool coverage starting ASAP
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (days). Overnight call and weekend call highly preferred
- IP 8 am – 4:30 pm
- Amount of coverage needed per month: full time coverage needed
- Is PM call needed? - Yes for continuity of care, we want someone that is on the inpatient side that is willing to take call the same week
- Is weekend call needed? - Yes, although open to someone who doesn’t want to do weekends. In this case, providers service that week would end on Fri at 4:30 PM
- Patients per day: Consult services may vary. 22-25.
- Support Staff: 2 MDs and 2 APPs with pagers. No APP on weekends
- EMR: Epic
- Special procedures: Malignant Hematology Required
- Skills required: Medical Oncology and Infusion Coverage required
- Practice Setting: Hospital/Infusion Center/Outpatient
- Required: MN license or IMLC, DEA, BLS
