This facility operates as an outpatient cancer center providing specialized hematology and oncology services within a structured clinic environment. Clinical operations are supported by a team of three APPs and dedicated nursing staff to facilitate coordinated oncologic care delivery. Established workflows are in place to support quality hematologic and oncologic care on a locum tenens basis.

North Carolina offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor, cultural, and recreational attractions suited to varied interests across its coastal, piedmont, and mountain regions. The state features year-round opportunities for leisure, including regional parks, beaches, mountain areas, and community events. Clinicians will find accessible options for exploration and leisure throughout the duration of the assignment.

Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on a schedule of 4 to 4.5 days per week; the half-day is flexible and may be structured as a Monday morning or Friday afternoon based on clinician preference. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions for an adult patient population, with approximately 20-25 patient encounters per day scheduled at 15-minute intervals. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment and is structured as phone-only; call is shared among physicians for their own patients and is typically managed during daytime hours, with after-hours contact occurring rarely. Three APPs are on staff to manage new patient intake and routine return visits, and each physician is assigned a dedicated nurse to support clinical operations.
