Job Description
Facility seeking a Locum Hematology Oncology Physician
• Full time coverage needed
• Schedule Details: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p, 30-minute unpaid lunch.
• Facility Type: clinic and hospital
• New referral patients include both Oncology and Hematology, inpatient consults.
• If bone marrow biopsy is necessary the patient can be referred to IR.
• Support staff: director of oncology and infusion services, clinical RN supervisor, support staff supervisor, 9 oncology RNs, 2 nurse navigators, 4 medical assistants, clerical staff for check in and check out, pharmacist, pharmacy tech
• EMR/Charting Software: ONCO EMR (clinic) and Cerner EMR (hospital)
• Avg. Daily Census: 12-15 patients per day
• Patient Age Group: 18+
• Required: Board Certified Hem/Onc, PA license or IMLC, PA DEA, BLS, ACLS, 1-2 years experience
