Hematology Position - Central Michigan
Job Description
Cancer Center is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist (or Hematologist/Oncologist seeking a hematology-focused practice) to join an established hematology silo as part of a long-term succession and transition plan
- Work directly alongside an experienced hematologist managing benign and malignant blood disorders with a strong regional referral base
- Outpatient clinic Monday–Thursday 8am–4:30pm; Friday reserved for administrative tasks and project time
- Dedicated outpatient RNs, medical assistants, and inpatient APPs covering hospital rounds and consults; medical scribes available upon request
- Integrated multidisciplinary cancer center with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, breast and surgical oncology, and active site-specific tumor boards
- Teaching opportunities for medical students and residents; clinical collaborations including peer consult network access
- 100% Hematology or hematology-heavy practice mix strongly encouraged
- Newly trained fellows and experienced physicians welcome
- Guaranteed base salary for first 2 years transitioning to wRVU productivity model with quality incentives
- $50,000 sign-on bonus; up to $15,000 relocation reimbursement; monthly training stipends available for fellows in training
- $25,000 per year in student loan assistance, PSLF eligible
- 7.5 weeks (37+ days) annual PTO and CME, $3,500–$7,000 annual CME stipend with paid licensing and dues
