Hepatology Position - Buffalo, NY area
Job Description
Medical center is seeking a BC/BE IM trained Hepatologist for a full-time position
- Outpatient consultations with a focus on hepatology; patient follow-up and care coordination
- Faculty position at the Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor level, commensurate with experience
- Diagnose and manage cirrhosis and complications, viral hepatitis (HBV, HCV), alcohol-related liver disease, substance-related liver disease, and liver masses
- Collaborate with gastroenterology, primary care, oncology, surgery, and radiology
- Teaching responsibilities include supervising and training residents and fellows, teaching medical students, and providing and attending educational lectures
- Conduct clinical research and participate in clinical trials
- Participation in all academic activities of the division and department required
- RVU productivity incentives in addition to base salary
