(Login for Information) at (Login for Information), a leading academic health center, is seeking applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Joan and Stanford Alexander Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine. The Assistant Professor in (Login for Information), Joan and Stanford Alexander Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine, will primarily provide high-quality clinical palliative care at (Login for Information). Responsibilities include direct patient care, learner supervision, and participation in divisional activities that support the clinical mission.
Position Key Accountabilities:

Providing direct patient care in palliative medicine at Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center. Patient population age range is 16 and over for trauma and 18 and over for medicine.

Supervising and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings as part of routine clinical care.

Participating in interdisciplinary care teams to support patient- and family-centered decision-making.

Contributing to divisional and departmental service activities related to clinical operations
Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O.

Texas Medical License.

Board certification or board eligibility in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
