Job Description
Anchorage is in south-central Alaska. It is a modern city, complete with skyscrapers, a thriving business district and a bustling international airport. The location makes it easily accessible by air, land, and sea. Almost half of Alaska's residents live in this area surrounded by miles of coast, mountain ranges, hundreds of lakes and rivers, glaciers, ski resorts, excellent fishing, hiking, unlimited recreational opportunities, and nearly 20 state parks.

- Day shift: 7 am - 7 pm; night coverage shared among hospitalists
- Average census of 15 - 18 patients per shift
- ICU covered by Intensivists 24/7; no procedures required
- Team of approximately 6 hospitalists during the day plus Nocturnist coverage
- W2 hospital-employed position with full benefits package
- Epic EMR used throughout the facility
- Board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine welcome
