Job Description
Low Volume Critical Access Hospital seeks a Hospitalist (ED or Family) just outside Spokane, Washington! We are looking for a BE/BC - Family Medicine Physician or Emergency Department Physician.
This group experiences long tenure will all their MDs because they provide an awesome work life balance. They really take care of their providers.

- 265 people in the organization
- 16 providers
- CEO has been there 14 years
- 55 year old, 25 bed critical access hospital
This role Family Medicine Physician or Emergency Department Physician :
- average 8 new patients in the ED per 24 hours.
- 24 hr shift 1 day a week plus 1 weekend a month = minimum shifts needed
- $130/hr working 1900 hours a year minimum = $250k yr. You can pick up extra shifts to make more $ - as many as you want in order to make $300-500k yr
Profile we are seeking:
- this is seeing all ages so we need a Family Medicine Physician or Emergency Department Physician
- ED provider would need to do hospital rounding - will be the only provider there.
- ideal person has experience with rural health, strong ED and Hospital background, can hit quality metrics, flex with their schedule to help out, someone not too quick to transfer patients to other hospitals
- position is open because MD of 16 years is moving near his kids in NC
