This inpatient facility operates within a structured hospitalist coverage model and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality care delivery for an adult patient population. The facility features an open ICU model and provides day and night shift coverage on an on-site basis. Coverage is sought on an ongoing basis beginning in January to address staffing continuity needs within the hospitalist program.

Northern California offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. The region spans coastal landscapes, national parks with granite formations and scenic natural features, and inland destinations including wine country and freshwater lakes. Clinicians will find diverse recreational, culinary, and cultural options throughout the area during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage on an on-site basis, with shifts available during both day and night hours and no call responsibilities required outside of assigned shift hours. Responsibilities include admitting patients, conducting daily rounds and progress notes, managing acute medical conditions, coordinating care with sub-specialists, and overseeing medication reconciliation and discharge planning for an adult patient population of 12-16 patients per day. The facility operates an open ICU model, and clinicians are expected to manage ICU-level patients as part of standard hospitalist duties. Board certified or board eligible clinicians are eligible for consideration for this locum tenens assignment.
