Coverage Details
-- Beginning January 1, 2027 - ongoing
-- Credentialing time frame: 60-90 days
Shift Details
-- Approximately 15 shifts per month
-- Day shift: 7am-7pm or swing shift (11am-9pm)
-- Weekend coverage is part of the schedule
Requirements
-- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
-- California state license
-- BLS, ACLS
-- DEA
-- Clean malpractice - Highly Preferred
Assignment Details
-- Inpatient shifts on site
-- Duties include admissions, follow-up visits in house, and discharge
-- EMR: Cerner
-- 8-10 admissions per shift
-- 14-16 patients per day
-- Cases include General Medicine, some consultation in Maternal Child, and some ICU
-- 1-2 years of experience in inpatient care, either as a locum or employed hospitalist, is preferred
