Hospitalist Positions in Central FL - Suburban Tampa, FL!!
Hospital Employed Setting
Seeking 1-2 hospitalists to provide inpatient care for Hospital employed physicians and other area physicians. Strong base of both hospital employed and private physicians in service area that are committed to referring to the hospitalist program.
Reason for Search: hospital seeking another option to the one hospitalist on staff who is employed by a local competitor.
Initial model would be 24 hours on / 24 hours off until multiple hospitalists can be hired. At that time the Model would be 7 days on / 7 days off
Competitive Financial Package, salary based on MGMA guidelines, incentive bonus, quality bonus, nice benefits, CME, vacation, relocation expenses, commencement bonus, potential medical education debt assistance, residency stipend.
NOTE: One primary care hospital employed incoming physician who starts later this year will begin working as one of the hospital's exclusive hospitalists starting next year.
2015 ED volume = 18,000 visits
Emergency Department has 20 beds with 1 physician and 1-2 mid-level providers.
NOTE: incoming physicians seeking a nocturnist role will have a higher base pay.
