Hospitalist Position - Central Michigan
Job Description
Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Hospitalist (Daytime Rounder)
-- 7am–7pm shifts; 15 shifts per month (180 shifts per year); block rotation scheduling completed 3 months in advance
-- Separated coverage model: rounders focus exclusively on inpatient follow-up and discharges; separate admitting teams handle admissions
-- Average daily census of 17 patients
-- Closed ICUs staffed 24/7 by intensivists; no required procedures or primary ICU management
-- Code Blue and Rapid Response coverage required
-- Collaborate with APPs; teaching opportunities with rotating medical residents and students
-- $400 bonus per shift beyond 180-shift annual commitment
-- EMR: Epic
-- $20,000 sign-on bonus
-- Relocation assistance up to $15,000
-- Tiered base pay by years of hospital medicine experience post-residency
