- Handle ED admissions so rounding hospitalists maintain uninterrupted rounds
- Open ICU with 24/7 intensivists on-site; no codes, rapids, or rapid responses
- No procedures or vent management; intensivists manage ICU until stepdown
- Hospital-employed position at a leading acute-care facility in Kansas City
- Internal medicine or experienced family medicine background preferred
- Comfortable working with underserved and inner-city patient populations
- Target start within 90 - 120 days; no visa sponsorship available
