Job Description
An Independent, not-for-profit, 72-bed short-term acute care hospital (new in April 2026) is seeking a BE/BE Internal Medicine Physician to join their growing Hospitalist team. The position is mostly days/swing but occasional nights may be required. This rural, tight-knit community features a low cost of living, genuine community, and easy access to plenty of outdoor recreation, and is located just 30 minutes from a metro of almost 500K. Excellent compensation (above median MGMA) plus quarterly RVU bonuses. Block scheduled in 12-hour days, 15 shifts per month (180 hours).. Annual quality bonus. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Comprehensive benefits package. Open ICU. In person intensivist back-up PLUS remote intensivists available. On any given shift, you have real-time access to specialists including interventional cardiology (Level 2 STEMI Center), pulmonology, anesthesiology, general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, psychiatry, infection disease, oncology, nephrology, pathology, and podiatry.. 15-20 patient contacts per 12-hour shift. Advanced Practice Provider support throughout. PSLF eligible.
