Position Overview/Job Description:
· 7 nights on/7off Flexible, Block Schedule
· 15 shifts per month
· 12 hour shifts
· 24/7 Program
· Average of 10-15 Emergency Room Admissions per Nocturnist.
· Some cross-coverage as needed of patients admitted to the Hospitalist service.
· Respond to Rapid Response as needed.
· Admitting Medical and Surgical Patients 16 years of age or older (adult), excluding obstetrical.
· Providing medical coordination and inpatient utilization management for surgical patients.
· Closed Medicine ICU and CCU, Open Surgery ICU-Nocturnists admit patients to Surgery ICU but not required to do procedures. Intensivists available for consultation.
· No Call Environment
· Electronic Billing System

Minimum Qualifications:
· MD or DO
· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
· Eligible to work in the United States. Limited H1B visa sponsorship available, not a J1 qualified area.
· Ability to work as a team member.
· Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills.
