Nocturnist Position - Syracuse, NY area
Job Description
Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Nocturnist Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to start in 2027
- Inpatient only; 7 days on / 7 days off with Tuesday changeover; 7pm–7am
- No call required
- Open ICU model; daytime PCCM physicians and overnight Tele-Intensivist support available
- Census budgeted at 40–48 patients; approximately 5,000 admissions per year; typically 6–8 admissions per night
- Med-surg and ICU coverage; admits adults (18+) only
- 24/7 specialty on-call providers available; experience with central lines, intubations, thoracentesis, and paracentesis preferred (will work with other service lines when capabilities are limited)
- EMR: Meditech
- 3 year employement agreement
- Competitive salary range: $350,000–$400,000
- $50,000 sign-on bonus

- 120 hours PTO and 60 hours CME time off
