A rural, community-focused hospital ~40 miles north of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a BC/BE Nocturnist to provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients. Position Highlights: 7/7 block schedule Provide direct inpatient care to adult patients Manage episodic and chronic conditions, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery Provide internal medicine consultations Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and safety initiatives Contribute to continuing education and professional development Utilize current CPT/ICD-10 coding practices Work in a 60+bed rural community hospital Join a team that values compassionate, respectful patient care Opportunity for physicians who are approachable, flexible, and organized Qualifications: MD or DO degree Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Current, valid North Carolina medical license or eligibility Sufficient clinical knowledge and experience to meet institutional standards of care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Location and Lifestyle: Enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and affordability of a charming North Carolina community while living within easy reach of the Research Triangle.
