- Round-and-go model; most shifts completed in 6 - 8 hours
- Days only, 7 am - 7 pm; no nights, no procedures, no codes, no RRTs
- Employed by a private hospitalist group, not the hospital
- 20-patient census with bonus incentives for each patient seen above 20
