- Nights -- 7 pm - 7 am shift schedule
- Average census of 16 patients per night
- Average 1 - 2 admissions per night
- ER physician available for backup and procedures
- No procedures required -- nocturnist responds to codes
- Open ICU with E-ICU consult service available
- Recurring blocks of 5 - 7 night shifts every 1 - 3 months
