Join an award-winning team of dedicated clinicians, who are committed to providing world-class patient care in a collaborative team environment! (Login for Information) has a brand new nocturnist hospitalist opening at St. David's South Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. We are looking for a dedicated clinician to work within our established program between (Login for Information) and HCA that is board eligible or certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
St. David's South Austin Medical Center is a Level II trauma designated facility with 368 total beds, an open ICU with a fully staffed intensivist program. During the day shift (7am-7pm) there are a total of 2 APCs and 9 day-time physicians; 8 are rounding physicians with 1 admitter daily from (8am-8pm). Our day-rounding team will oversee 22 encounters daily, while our admitting team will average 15-16 total admissions.
During the night shift we have 2 nocturnist physicians and 1 APC (7pm-7am) averaging 20-23 total admissions + cross coverage. Clinicians do respond to their own patients when a code is called and assist the rapid response team as needed. The current EMR at all St. David's locations is Meditech.
