Hospitalist Position - Northern West Virginia
Job Description
-Daytime hospitalist opening to join growing program
-12 hour shifts
-4 physicians working per shift (3 will share transfers/admissions, and 1 will crossover to in-patient)
-7on/7off schedule but also open to other schedule arrangements
-15 shifts/month for full-time
-15-16 patients per shift per provider
-8-10 admissions/day
-Full spectrum of specialists on consult
-20 bed open ICU, mostly sees COPD/respiratory illness
-ICU procedures not required but can do if interested, Intensivists on site during the day
-No vent management
-300 bed hospital
-EMR: EPIC
-Recruitment incentives available for multi-year commitment
-Full time salaried at $397,900 ($2300 per 12 hour shift)
-173 shifts per year (built in 7 days off) = 14.4 shifts per month
-Extra shifts calculated and paid out quarterly at $2700 per shift
