Work alongside an experienced clinical team in our mobile medical unit, evaluating an average of 6–8 patients per day. This hands-on position is ideal for a physician who enjoys geriatric care, teamwork, and traveling to different facilities throughout the workday
Duties
- Evaluate an average of 6–8 patients per day, providing medical consultation related to swallowing concerns.
- Supervise diagnostic testing and operate the C-arm fluoroscopy equipment within applicable requirements
- Assist with transporting patients into and out of the mobile medical unit.
- Complete timely electronic documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Skills
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Florida physician license.
- Experience with the geriatric population.
- Computer proficiency and comfort with electronic documentation.
- Ability to operate a fluoroscopic C-Arm.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Willingness to work in a mobile medical setting.
- Ability to safely assist with patient transport and mobility.
Must be able to work in a team environment; do not apply if you experience motion sickness or claustrophobia
