Job Description
Facility seeking Geriatric Medicine Physician
--Full-time permanent position
--Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
--100% outpatient
- Beeper/Phone Call coverage
- Call responsibility is approximately one week per year
- Includes after-hours and weekend call during the assigned call week
--Includes after-hours and weekend call during the assigned call week
--Clinic-Based Practice
--Associated hospital is a Level I Trauma Center
--Average daily patient volume: 16–18 patients
--General outpatient geriatric medicine
--Management of chronic and complex conditions commonly seen in geriatric patients
--Outpatient primary care experience
--Procedures:
- General outpatient geriatric evaluation and management
- Preventive care and chronic disease management
--EMR: Epic
--No leadership responsibilities
--No teaching requirements
--Required: BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, TX license, one year of post-training experience, General Outpatient Geriatrics Experience, must have Minimal Malpractice Settlements
