Primary Care Position - Jersey Shore - 1 hour 15 minutes from Manhattan
Job Description
Multi-specialty group practice is seeking a BC/BE Primary Care Physician to join team; practice has 5 other primary care docs and 2 locations;
- Office-based practice providing care to all age groups
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic medical services including disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, vaccinations, and health/hygiene counseling
- Prescribe and administer medications; order necessary tests and follow-up visits; refer to specialists as needed
- Provide direction to clinical and reception support staff
- Accurate and complete medical documentation required for all patient care; E/M and HCC coding accuracy required to maintain eligibility for productivity and value-based care bonuses
- Compensation range: $250k+ starting salary based on experience plus percent of net collections
- NJ license; DEA/CSR; BLS/CPR/AED certification required
- Residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required; strong EMR experience preferred
