Seeking a full time and part time Urgent care Physician BC in Family medicine or Internal medicine with experience treating all ages
Our state-of-the-art centers offer digital x-ray, CLIA approved labs and prescription drugs on- site with a highly-trained and friendly medical staff. Doctors have an extensive patient base ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics with an interesting diversity of patient issues.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Ordering and reading all diagnostic x-rays and labs
• Suturing lacerations and draining abscesses
• Ensuring all charts and medical records are accurately completed in a timely manner
• Ensuring patients are discharged with detailed instructions
• Ensuring biological specimens are collected and processed in the lab
• Adhering to all center policies and procedures
Position Description: Staff Physician
• Familiar with occupational medicine and travel medicine
• Comfort and experience treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Clinical ability to suture lacerations, drain abscesses, and read x-rays
• Effective and compassionate communicator with staff, patients and family
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records
Qualifications
• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree
• Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• At least three years of clinical experience in family medicine or emergency medicine
• Active and current medical license in state of Pennsylvania
• Active and current Federal DEA number
• Active and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Passionate about the practice of medicine
