Job Description
Full time BC/BE Family/internal medicine Physician Kermit, Texas (60 miles from Midland, TX)
Clinic – providing primary care services (NO OB) to those from community who present
ER – providing urgent/emergent care services to those who present; Level IV Trauma ER – 350 visits a months; 30, transferred, 20 admitted, balance treated and released – suture, splint (not cast), intubate, occasional chest tube, etc. – our place in the continuum is to assess, stabilizer and ship/refer as appropriate those requiring a higher level of care
Inpatient – whether admitted from the clinic or ER, attend to and provide for patient’s needs as appropriate, working with hospital staff
Schedule M-F 8-5
ER Call will be 1:4; hospital “call” based on admissions
Single Specialty Group
ACLS ATLS BLS DEA NRP PALS
Board Certified Board Eligible Bi-lingual – would be beneficial
Compensation
· Salary Range:: $200-225k
· Overtime:$50 hr for ER call; exclusive of M-F 8-5
· Bonus75% of inpt pro fess
· Vacation4 weeks including holidays
· we anticipate first year to gross $275 – 300k
