About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide maternal-fetal medicine coverage in both office and inpatient settings, with Monday through Friday clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, nightly weekday call, and 24-hour weekend call coverage. Required procedures include amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage (preferred), along with management of pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancy, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, genetic disorders, and birth defects. The position encompasses both vaginal and cesarean birth management and any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that render the pregnancy high risk. Board certification in Maternal and Fetal Medicine is required for this on-site assignment.
