- Night shift -- 5 pm - 8 am, up to 5 shifts per month
- 1 - 2 nights in a row; weekends and holidays possible
- Average census: ~35 patients
- ~3000 births annually at this labor and delivery facility
- 1 - 2 NNPs overnight and onsite for support
- Procedures: line placement, intubation, chest tube, LP, exchange transfusion
- Delivery attendance required for under 32 weeks or congenital anomaly
