Coverage Details
-- Q4 start date, ongoing coverage
-- Credentialing timeframe: 120 days
Shift Details
-- 24-hour in-house shifts
-- 3-5 shifts per month
-- Weekend coverage required
Requirements
-- Board Certified Neonatology
-- Minimum of 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience
-- Recent Neonatologist experience within the past 12 months
-- Missouri license
Assignment Details
-- Three NICUs within the health system
-- Main unit is a 49-bed Level IIIB NICU; additional units include a 15-bed Level IIIA NICU and one growing Level II NICU
-- Offers iNO, HFOV and HFJV
-- Therapeutic hypothermia program
-- ELGAN program caring for infants as young as 22 weeks gestation
-- Over 450 annual admissions
-- Average daily census of 30
-- Main unit has in-house coverage with NNPs in-house 24/7
-- Well-baby care offering out-of-house coverage with NNPs in-house 24/7
-- Comprehensive neonatal care with advanced ventilator support
