This inpatient hospital provides 24-hour newborn call coverage services and operates as an RN-staffed unit with established clinical protocols to support neonatal patient outcomes. The facility seeks locum tenens Physician Associate coverage for specific dates and requires that clinicians be available to work the designated shifts upon acceptance. Clinical resources are in place to support on-site newborn care management throughout each assigned coverage period.

Downtown and park settings host cruise nights, car shows, and festivals featuring live music, food cook-offs, and parades throughout the year. Clinicians on assignment will find accessible recreational and community-based experiences during their time in the region.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour inpatient newborn call coverage on an on-site basis, with shifts running from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Responsibilities include telephone triage, rounds, consults, attendance at deliveries, and newborn resuscitation, with required response to the facility upon request by the OB clinician. Experience with circumcision, NRP, and PALS is required for this assignment. Board certification is required, and clinicians must hold an active state license and active DEA.
