About the Facility

This medical network is a non-profit health system serving central and western portions of its region, as well as adjacent areas in neighboring states. The facility is part of this health system and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate staffing models to support locum tenens clinicians delivering on-site neonatal-perinatal medicine coverage. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective Level 3 NICU care management across all assigned coverage periods.

About the Facility Location

North Dakota offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural experiences suited to varied interests. Natural attractions include the Badlands and Theodore Roosevelt National Park, with opportunities for hiking, canoeing, and horseback riding across open plains. Historical sites, museums featuring Native American artwork, and landmarks connected to the Lewis and Clark expedition provide cultural enrichment, while urban areas offer arts, dining, shopping, and spectator sports for clinicians seeking additional options during time away from clinical responsibilities.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide neonatal-perinatal medicine care on night shifts from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM within an inpatient, on-site Level 3 NICU setting. Clinical responsibilities include intubation, central line placement, peripheral arterial line placement, and attendance at high-risk deliveries. Clinicians must also be prepared to conduct ground and air (fixed wing) transport of neonatal patients as required. Board certification, an active DEA, and NRP certification are required for all clinicians considered for this locum tenens engagement.
