Florida Kidney Physicians is seeking a passionate and dedicated BC/BE Nephrologist to join their team! Hiring Package:
- $275,000 starting salary
- Up to 25,000 sign-on bonus
- 4 weeks PTO + 1 week CME annually
- No buy-in practice partnership opportunity after two years
Schedule/Practice Details:
- 1:6 weekend call (Fri, Sat, Sun call coverage)
- 4-day workweeks: each physician is expected to fill 25 daily slots/100 weekly [new patients = 2 slots, follow-up patients = 1 slot] with a cap of 5 new patients per day
- 7 tenured physician practice w/ 8 APPs
- APPs: 2 hospital-based, 2 PT weekends only; 4 office based
- Two team approach – Team A and Team B – Team A covers clinic one week, while Team B covers hospital, then they switch every week
- All profits are equally allocated (based on individual FTE) amongst partners and medical directors accordingly
- Immediate patient base for new providers
- Florida Kidney Physicians – Space Coast is the only nephrology practice covering entire southside of county
- 3 physicians and 2 APPs cover 7 hospitals – census typically 3-5 pts at most of hospitals with ~85% at the main large hospital; total census 80-100/day
- ~22% of patients on home dialysis
