-- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 45 days

Shift Details
-- Schedule: 7am – 7pm, Monday-Sunday
-- 7 on / 7 off schedule preferred but must be able to cover listed dates

Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Active California license
-- Must be comfortable and willing to work with residents

Assignment Details
-- Setting: Inpatient
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Admissions/Consultations per day: 2-8
-- Patient volume: Typically 10-20 patients per day
-- Teaching service within a neurology residency program with resident, medical student, and multidisciplinary learner involvement
-- Neurologist provides consultations on General Inpatient Neurology and Vascular-Stroke/Emergency services
-- May serve as attending physician staffing neurology residents
-- Attending to learner ratio approximately 1:4
-- Types of cases include acute neurologic emergencies and inpatient neurologic consultations for critical care, general medicine, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, and other admitted services
