Position Overview

An established and well-respected multi-specialty medical practice in Ocala, Florida, providing comprehensive outpatient healthcare services to the local community, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join its outpatient team.

This is a general outpatient Neurology opportunity focused on the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with a broad range of neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with a variety of neurological conditions.

• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Manage common outpatient conditions, including headaches, epilepsy, neuropathy, movement disorders, and other neurological disorders.

• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies.

• Provide ongoing follow-up and management for patients with chronic neurological conditions.

• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient response.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management.
