Coverage Details
-- ASAP – Ongoing
-- seeking in person neurohospitalists for inpatient program and teleneurologists for rural sites
Shift Details
-- Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
-- Hours vary; may need to stay later based on patient volumes
-- No call
Requirements
-- ABPN Neurology Certification
-- Pennsylvania Medical License
-- Specific procedures: lumbar puncture (if not performed by radiology), injections, etc.
Assignment Details for Onsite NeuroHospialist:
-- Rounding on neurological inpatients & performing neurology consults
-- No acute stroke responsibility. This is handled by stroke team.
-- Number of beds: 250
-- Level II Adult Trauma Center
-- Joint Commission-Certified Primary Stroke Center
-- Patient volume: Variable census of 10–20 patients
-- Supporting staff: No residents but locums will work with APCs (APPs)
--Patients are 18+ no children
