We are looking for a caring Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Chandler, AZ providing wound care. We need a compassionate practitioner, who enjoys helping others, and is interested in the field of wound care. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate a Nurse Practitioner looking for either full time or part time work.

Job Description:

• Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources
• Evaluates and manages patients for wound care and ensuring delivered care meets current standards of practice
• Adheres to clinical practice guidelines for wound care
• Performs care that is accurate, efficient and consistent with the patient’s needs
• Coordinates the patient plan of care to address patient needs, evaluate the effectiveness of care, and assess changes to the patient medical condition to ensure healing outcome goals
• Demonstrates competency in the position of wound care including assessment, debridement, wound dressings, skin substitutes and other treatment as needed
• Explains treatment plan to patient and family members

Required Skills:

• Certified in Sharps Debridement and wound care certified preferred
• Previous wound care experience preferred, however experience similar field will be considered.
• NP license in the state of AZ

Salary:

• $50-$75/hour
