Job Description
Seeking a locum Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
M-F: 4p-8a (16 hrs) Sa-Su: 2p-8a (18 hrs)
NICU/Newborn 15 bed NICU
Avg daily census: 6 nursery, NICU 6.5
Annual births: 1800
C-Section rate: 30%
Level: Level IIEQ
NNPs are in-house 24/7. Neonatologist is in-house from 8a-5p and on call at night.
Cover NICU and attend high risk deliveries.
NNPs will occasionally help with newborn nursery if they've already seen the baby;
Neos will see nursery babies within first 24 hours of life then NNP follows through dishcarge.
Experienced NNPs that feel comfortable being in house alone.
EMR: Cerner, PremiEHR, TPN
Required: Board Certified, AZ state license, DEA, ATLS, BLS, NCCPA, NRP, PALS
