Locum CNM Assignment - Jacksonville FL area
Job Description
Hospital is seeking Locum CNM to provide coverage starting 2/2/2026
- Schedule 2-3 shifts per week or 4-10 shifts per month
- 12, and 24-hour shifts: 7 am- 7 pm, 7 pm-7 am, and 7 am-7 am
- Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care
- Must have recent surgical first assist experience within the past 12-24 months
- Collaborate with clinical colleagues (including OB/GYNs; RNs; LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, childbirth educators, and other specialists)
- Provide day-to-day expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery, including in-house clinical coverage
- Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients, working collaboratively with RNs and OB/GYNs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Attend skills training and drills for high acuity/low frequency events
- Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 years of experience preferred)
- Required: Active certification with AMCB, Current RN and APRN license in FL
- Additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or, Lactation consultation are preferred
