- Night shifts -- 7 pm - 7 am
- 7 on / 7 off schedule
- Census typically 8 - 10 ICU patients
- ICU / critical care facility
- Intubation, central line, arterial lines required
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis required
- Cath lab transfers involved
