Job Description
seeking Locum Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider
--10 hr shifts during day time, 12 hr shifts night time during the week.
--12 hr shifts on weekends
--Both AM and PM shift coverage needed
--24 beds, 7 vertical pathway, 2 intake rooms
--Patients per hour: 1-1.5
--Patient Mix: Mainly 2's and 3's
--Trauma Level II
--Nurse/APP Triage for lower acuity
--Three 9hr physician shifts per day and typically 1 APP during the day with some overlap
--Normal ER support staff
--ED Admission Rate: 35%
--Required:
- Active Kansas license
- Must have 2+ years of recent EM experience
- Standard ER APP certifications
- clean file and December availability
