Hospital is seeking Locum BC Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant starting January 2027
-- 2 weeks per month 7 on/7 off
-- 6 month assignment
-- Sunday–Saturday 7:30am–4pm
-- No overnights
-- No call
-- Locum-to-perm considered
-- 80% inpatient / 20% outpatient; primary role is staffing with physicians for inpatient cardiology rounding
-- Level II Trauma Center
-- 20–25 patients per day; adult and geriatric patients
-- Responsibilities include managing follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service, providing discharge instructions, and managing post-procedure care; no procedure skills required
-- Teaching component included
-- EMR: Epic
-- Required: MI license, AANP, NCCPA, ACLS & BLS through AHA, clean background
-- 3 years or more of prior experience in an IP and OP setting within cardiology required
