Locum Women's Health NP Position - Eastern North Carolina
Job Description
Seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide outpatient care
--Start date: as soon as credentialed
--Experienced applicants with GYN experience are preferred.
--Scheduled/hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Schedule starts at 7:50 AM
--Outpatient only
--No Call
--BLS required
--Established practice inclusive of 27 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers
--Average number of patients per day per provider: 20-22
--Clinic scheduling: 30-minute appointments for new patients/15-minute appointments for returning patients. Typical day includes 2 new patient slots per half day.
--Will the LT respond to codes: Yes
--Will the LT be expected to serve as backup in ER: No
--Procedures and Clinical Expectations:
- Colposcopy and LEEP procedures, as well as other simple in office GYN procedures if adequately experienced to do so
- Routine GYN, annual visits, postpartum visits, abnormal uterine bleeding, post-menopausal bleeding, and non-complex ovarian cysts
