Job Description
A community-owned Critical Access Hospital in south central North Dakota is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a highly respected rural health system. This unique position offers a broad clinical scope including family medicine, emergency medicine, and light inpatient care while maintaining a schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.
Practice Highlights:
- Join an established team of experienced APPs in a stable, supportive organization
- Broad-spectrum practice combining clinic, emergency medicine, and inpatient care
- Average schedule is 4 day work week with flexibility built into the schedule.
- Minimal call: 1 night call shift per week and 1 weekend call shift per month max.
- Average clinic volumes of just 6-12 patients per day
- ER and inpatient average 4 patients daily
- Strong physician backup and 24/7 tele-emergency medicine support
- Opportunity to practice with a level of autonomy rarely found in larger systems
