Hospital is seeking a Locum Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner for clinic and call coverage starting November 2026
- 10-hour (7am–5pm) or 12-hour (7am–7pm) shifts; 1 weeknight call and 1 weekend day per call week; call is onsite
- $165/hr
- Typically 1–2 MDs in clinic per day with 1 Nurse Practitioner present Monday–Friday; additional APP present 1–2 times per week
- Patients scheduled 9am–3:30pm; rounds required prior to clinic
- Inpatient and acute care procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement, and primary surgical care of complex wounds
- Support staff includes 6 MDs, 1 RN, and 4 MAs
- Adult patients
- EMR: Epic
- Active South Carolina license, board certification, flu vaccine, DEA required
