Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Locums Job in Virginia | 24-Hour Shifts
Jackson and Coker is seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established neonatal team providing care to newborns in an intermediate care nursery and well-baby setting. Jackson and Coker has a long-standing relationship with this facility, including successful previous NNP placements.
The team has an immediate coverage need, with additional shifts becoming available in December. Providers who can offer consistent monthly availability are encouraged to apply.
Assignment Highlights
--Start: ASAP, pending credentialing
--Duration: Ongoing coverage while permanent recruitment continues
--Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts, 7 AM–7 AM
--Flexibility: Providers able to cover a portion of the monthly shifts will be considered
--Setting: Intermediate Care Nursery and Well-Baby Nursery
--Delivery Volume: Approximately 120 deliveries per month
--Patient Population: Primarily newborns at 34 weeks gestation and above
Requirements
--Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification
--Current NRP certification
--Approximately 2+ years of neonatal experience preferred
--Active Virginia license and DEA strongly preferred
--Clean credentialing history preferred for potential expedited privileges
