1 hour from Seattle
seeking a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider
--Start: As soon as credentialed
--Duration: 6-9 months
--Assignment: M-F and Call (1-2 weekdays and weekends)
--Night call starts at 5pm and goes to 7am.
--Setting: Office/Clinic 5% and Hospital 95%
--Adult 100%
--Required Procedures:
- General CV/thoracic surgery – open
- Coronary artery bypass surgery – on pump
- Valvular – repair
- Valvular – replacement
--Preferred Procedures:
- Aneurysm repair – cardiac
- Aneurysm repair – aorto-thoracic
- Lung resection (including VATS)
- Chest wall or pleural procedures
- Left ventricular assist devices
- Ventilation management
- Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
- Insertion of central line
--EMR: EPIC
--Hospital Patients per Day: 5-10
--Admissions - 0-3
--ICU 2-7
--Surgeries 1-2
--Office ancillary staff: RN Navigators, MA's, 2 Physicians in practice and 4 Midlevels
--Required: Board Certification, WA license, Self Query NPDB within 30 days
--Must have Cardiothoracic Surgery experience - both in the OR and also management of the patients in the acute care and ICU setting,
