This non-profit acute care hospital operates with 104 licensed beds and provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, including emergency, surgical, cardiovascular, neurological, cancer, and orthopedic care. The facility maintains a Family Birth Center staffed by board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists, supported by 24/7 surgical services and an around-the-clock emergency department. Established clinical protocols and structured workflows are in place to support continuous obstetric and gynecologic care delivery across all assigned coverage periods.

California offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of natural and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. The state features coastal destinations, national parks including Yosemite and Death Valley, and desert preserves that support outdoor recreation year-round. Cultural institutions, maritime attractions, historic landmarks, wine regions, and family-friendly theme parks further contribute to the breadth of experiences available across the state during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour shifts on an on-site basis, with coverage needed from March through July on an ongoing basis. Clinical responsibilities include vaginal deliveries, averaging 23-30 per month, cesarean sections, and emergency department call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic related issues. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain on-site availability in accordance with the designated call schedule. Prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
