Coverage Details

Shift Details
-- Sunday through Saturday coverage, including holidays.
-- Cover 24 hours per day
-- Call coverage consists of 12-hour or 24-hour shifts with backup call

Requirements
-- Board Certified - ABOG
-- Colorado license preferred
-- BLS required

-- LEEP
-- Hysteroscopy
-- Vaginal deliveries
-- C-Section deliveries
-- D&C
-- Ectopic procedures
-- Torsion procedures
-- Colposcopy
-- IUD insertion/removal
-- Nexplanon insertion/removal
-- Inpatient OB/GYN care

Assignment Details
-- Coverage as a physician providing OB and OB ER call and deck coverage, including emergency surgeries, OR coverage, and procedures
-- OBGYN call coverage with approximately 1,300 to 1,400 deliveries per year
-- Average inpatient volume varies
-- Average daytime call volume: 2 to 5 calls
-- Average nighttime call volume: 2 to 5 calls
-- Patient demographics include pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
-- Support staff includes RNs, CNMs, L&D staff, and backup support
-- EMR: Epic
-- May advise and back up family medicine OBs and midwives; no supervision of other physicians
-- Sleep rooms available
