- Hotel pager call -- 10 pm to am coverage model
- Inpatient setting -- call only coverage
- Approx. 2 patients seen per 24-hour call
- ~500 average deliveries per year
- Required: C-section, vaginal delivery, and complicated deliveries
- OB ultrasounds -- performance and interpretation required
- Amniocentesis and breech delivery skills required
- Board certification required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
